What’s the first chocolate that you reach for in a box?

Assuming that you like chocolates.

I love most but I’ll usually go for the fruit or mint creams and the Turkish Delight.

What’s your favourite?

Caramel, then truffle, then nutty. Coffee, fruit or booze in chocolate is an abomination quite frankly and I'd rather eat broccoli.

Toffee/hard caramel

The fudge. I suck it so it melts in my mouth and lasts ages 😋

Used to be hard caramel but due to ageing teeth and the price of dentists it's the fudge 😪

Coffee creams, followed by fruit creams. Thank you for the reminder that I have a big box of Audrey's filled with these that I'd forgotten about! Sunday afternoon sorted

Soft centres: orange, lemon, violet, rose, coffee and lime.
No favourites out of these, really.
Orange seems to be in every brand and violet only in a few.

DH only buys me boxes of rose and violet creams now ☺️.

My least favourite in other boxes would be runny caramel in milk chocolate. It’s just too sweet.

Anything caramel, then truffle, then nuts. I don't like the fruit creams. Rum truffles are my faves.

Caramel - either soft, hard or salted - is my absolute favourite, but if there are any white chocolate ones in the box, they're next!

I saw fancy bars of salted caramel white chocolate in a deli recently and had to walk away in a hurry before I bought and wolfed them all.

Strawberry, orange, Turkish delight, coffee creams if standard types of chocolates. Then the toffee / caramel ones next. Pistachio, vanilla, hazelnut & rose cream types if leonidas style. I also love sea salt in chocolate
My very leat favorite type is truffle so I'd leave them to last & probably not eat them at all.

This thread is making me yearn for ye olden days when Black Magic and Terrys All Gold were still good. Chartreuse cream, anyone?

Not a fan of the cherry ones. Everything else, I don't mind what it is, but if there's an orange one, that would probably be first.

Coconut. Luckily no one ever wants to fight me for it.

Followed by cherry, Turkish delight, marzipan, fudge, caramel

then everything else. Orange and coffee left until last.

I took my 91 year old mum some Black Magic yesterday. Still available from Tesco Asda and Morrisons.

I made sure I got both coffee creams on the top layer so I guess that must be my favourite!
