No Waiting Zone - Blue Badges

I have a Blue Badge and am in England. Can you park in a no waiting zone with a Blue Badge? I have read the Blue Badge rules and it talks about No Loading zones, but says nothing about No Waiting Zones. I am confused. Thanks.

You have to abide by the signs locally so if it says no waiting you technically cannot wait. While you can sometimes park on double yellows, if there is a sign saying no stopping, no waiting no loading etc then you always have to go with that

You need to check with your local council. Some allow this, some don't.

I wouldn’t risk it- my rule of thumb is that any additional signage (so not just yellow lines) means you might get a ticket. The rules are complicated and are different in some councils I think.

It varies council by council, there's no one answer. You need to check the relevant council's website.

(DW has a blue badge).

The local council website does not say! It only talks about No Waiting cones.
It is annoying as after 8pm as all the spaces near the cinema have no waiting signs after 8pm. So it sounds like I can not go to the cinema after 8pm. Thnaks for replies.

Is there no disability parking at the cinema? That's really poor.

No. Lots of streets have been pedestrianised so there is not that much parking anyway.
