Random spots toddler

Is it normal for children to come out in random spots? We’ve had this problem since June last year although June was quite bad she was getting spots that were growing and then leaving scars on her skin and the dermatologist said it just looked like impetigo from infected eczema (Although by time we got the dermatologist appointment her skin had cleared so she was just going off pictures) Since then she still keep getting random spots on her body they’re not getting any bigger which is good but I don’t know what’s causing them. They’re mainly on her front or back hardly on her legs or arms never had any on her face/neck. We took her to the doctors about 3 weeks ago and she said it’s viral rash. But that went now she’s got 2 new ones. It’s not chicken pox.
Ill attach some photos, they are also not itchy or irritating her

My son and daughter both got these, but disappeared over a few days. I kept expecting CP but they just disappeared!

That looks like folliculitis (infected hair follicles) My DD had it widespread when her eczema was infected.

My ds has had a few of these on his face, they went in about 5 days and I put it down to eczema

@nomeslice she had the infected eczema back in June last year. Would she still be having symptoms from that then?

This is helpful - infected eczema usually driven by staph aureus. Folliculitis is often caused by the same bacteria. There is likely to be an association with eczema and staph aureus colonisation even if its not the acute infection you experienced previously. I'd go back to dermatology if the spots persist.

Is she still getting these? My son has been getting these for a year!
