DD19 is severely dyslexic and reads daily to keep the skill up. She loves Colleen Hoover and needs something dramatic and page turnery to keep her going. She doesn't mind silliness and raunch so I thought maybe Lace, Riders or Jackie Collins but they are so old (like me!)
Also needs to be a real book and quite a large print.

Thanks so so much

Anyone?

Maybe something by Emily Heny? I've just finished Book Lovers. She might also like the Marian Keyes Walsh Family books. They are a bit old now but the series is still being added to and you don't have to read them in order although I probably would. I think the first one is Watermelon.

Why don’t you buy her a kindle then she can enlarge the print as much as she needs to on any book. GD and GS both use one for that reason.

Thanks, we tried this but she can't manage the backlighting and prefers the feel of a book. She has ASD and Dyslexia and didn't read fluently until she was 11 so I am very proud of her determination

I also came on to recommend a Kindle, which aren't backlit.

You can also turn the light right down so it's indistinguishable from paper.

The ability to increase the font size, along with never ending cheap book deals (and Kindle unlimited if you read a lot and the books are the kind of thing you like) mean that they work out really cheap compared with real books, unless you have access to really good libraries or charity shops, in your case with a reliable large print selection.

Yes, she has a kindle and another device and prefers a paper book. She likes holding it and feeling how much she has read and how much is left. Thanks for teh suggestions, I know they help a lot of people.

My DD19, also a CH fan, likes books by Anna Huang. I think the first one she read was "If we ever meet again" from the "If" series but she has since also read the four books from the "Twisted" series.

With a slightly different flavour, she also loved the series by Marjorie Blackman that begins with "Noughts and Crosses".

I second Taylor Jenkins Reid really good or Paige Toon is great and she has loads of books. I read those and Colleen Hoover a lot

Does she like supernatural?
I really enjoyed 'The father of lies' by S.England its the first in a trilogy, but is fine as a stand alone novel (the other two were okay, but I definitely liked the first one best).
Also enjoyed: Abigale hall by Lauren Forry
Midnight is a lonely place by Barbra Erskin
The secret of Crickley hall by James Herbert (I think it's his best book)
Watchers by Dean Koontz

All fast paced. With good endings. I absolutely cannot abide a book that doesn't grip me within the first 30 mins of reading and then fizzles out!

I really enjoyed A Little Love Song by Michelle Magorian. She is primarily a children's author but I would say this book is for 16+ with themes but also just writing style and I really enjoyed it at a similar age.
