Any cheap and easy recipes for catering for a large crowd?

Our church provides lunch each week after the service, it's my turn to cook this week and I'm stuck for inspiration.
The meal needs to be cheap, vegetarian, ideally cooked in one pot on the hob or in the oven, easy to dish up/portion out and serve around 60/70 people, preferably no curry, chick peas or rice as those already feature in lots of the other Sunday lunches.
My go-to is lentil soup and French bread, it always goes down well but I'm getting a bit bored of cooking it and wondered if anyone had any other ideas.
Thank you

Grin at the people thinking a 'one pot meal' means the food for all the people literally needs to be cooked in 'one pot' Grin

Ours is when I do fajitas. Ok I think it was technically 50 but it does depend on the pot size. I'll concede when we did pasta bol on the evening we had two saucepans of Bolognese going

Lasagna if people will eat cheese.
Layer like this:
Sauce ( MUST use Lloyd Grossmans tomato and chili alternated with his tomato and basil)
Pasta sheets
Sauce
Grated mature cheddar cheese scattered all over (be generous with the cheeses)
Pasta sheets
Grated Parmesan all over
Sliced peppers
Pasta sheets
Sauce
Mozzarella sliced and scattered.
In oven for 45 minutes.
You could add mushrooms on top of the cheddar cheese.
Serve with green salad.

Instead of individual scones how about scone loaves? This recipe makes a 2lb loaf or 2 x 1lb loaves, about 16 big slices not counting the ends, so you'd need 3 batches and you'd have some left over. You can make them the day before.

12oz self raising flour.
1oz yellow mustard powder.
Big pinch of salt and pepper.
1/4 - 1/2 teaspoon chilli powder (optional).
4oz margarine.
6 grated mature cheddar.
4oz minced onion, sauteed til see through or a chopped spring onion (optional).
1 egg beaten into 8 fl oz milk.

Rub the margarine into the flour and seasoning, mix in the cheese and onion (you can use a food processor.)
Add the egg and milk, mix together to bind but don't overwork the dough. Pour into loaf tins and bake at 160C/325F/Gas 3 for about 1 - 1 1/2 hours.
