I'm a tad ignorant on the subject...I suppose that is fortunate in some ways...is a second bankruptcy whilst first bankruptcy in place so bad? Is it because it shows she has learnt nothing or is there another reason it is so awful?

Harvey aside, how has she had a rough deal? She has had a long and varied career (ruined now by her own hand) and more money and luxury material goods than any of us could dream of (thrown away, by the sounds of it).

Like a previous poster, I listened to KP on Grace Dent's Comfort Eating and was saddened by her lack of self-awareness, her refusal to take any responsibility and her victim mentality. She came across as extremely self-absorbed.

I can't say I have much sympathy for her.

I'd like to know this too, it hadn't occurred to me that the first bankruptcy was still in place and I don't really know that that means.

Can you imagine if she was a none famous single mum on benefits and living in a rented place?
She would have been in a prison cell and her kids in care years ago.
So what makes KP so special that she gets away with everything time and time again?

In her autobiography, Katie states that she pretty much became famous overnight at 18. She knew nobody in the industry and was betrayed and taken advantage of by many.

She was pretty and cashed in on it. She made a fortune. However, she didn't make many friends along the way.

If she'd met a decent man, I believe she'd have turned out alright. However, she only ever seemed to get with men who were a bad match for her. I don't think she's a lever been with any bloke that was a good match sadly.

That said, I can't defend her animal abuse, partner abuse, and so on. She and only she is responsible for that.

She uses her ADHD diagnosis as an excuse. Many ADHD patients manage to not abuse animals or break the law repeatedly.

She's done that deliberately. It's butterfly filler.

Unless something changes and she actually addresses her issues with alcohol and substance abuse then she's going to seriously jeopardise her health. Even setting aside her financial and legal issues she's acrually harming herself by behaving in such a destructive way. She's had a string of relationships which have all been unhealthy. Her children have been removed from her care and I acknowledge that caring for Harvey must have been very difficult but she really has to stop and think about the harm she's doing to herself

Listening to the radio earlier and the newsreader said Katie Price stated she didn't appear in court as she had some serious stuff going on.

Clearly being up in court for bankruptcy a second time isn't that serious, which to be fair as it is the second time for her and nothing significant changed about the way her life was going or stopped her from continuing to spend like a millionaire you can't blame her for thinking it wasn't something she needed to attend for.

She probably sees it as just another slap on the wrist.

Well, as I said up-thread, I don't think she has any idea quite how much shit she's in. She's not the sharpest tool in the box, despite all that nonsense quoted years ago about her being a savvy businesswoman - apart from a talent at grabbing any chance to monetise every aspect of her life even, on one occasion, filming herself having a colonic irrigation and facial surgery.
She was filmed on a podcast yesterday (probably the one the radio broadcaster was referring to) saying how "there are different types of bankruptcies and it's just a word they use." This is beyond nonsense. There is ONE type of bankruptcy and she has it - twice.
She also seemed to be making out she was unaware of yesterday's court case, which either makes her very dim or a liar, and that she doesn't attend court hearings (plenty of them happening for her at the moment) because she's "been signed off." Yet she managed to do a podcast and then go out clubbing last night?

She was so pretty when she was younger...if she'd have just aged naturally, she'd still be a gorgeous woman.

No, she figured out people (men) pay to see people like her topless, what a shocker, slow hand clap. Then she figured out her poor choice of men and the drama that brought kept her in the papers. Again well done.

She said: 'I know I had court last week or the week before. Because of what's going on in my life, I've actually been signed off because I'm dealing with serious stuff.'
She said this on a podcast recording! So she is fine to work and record podcasts but she can't engage representation in court or even go herself.

She's been in the papers again today. Says she might lose her £2m mucky mansion this time!

How can you like someone who is responsible for the deaths of many animals in her care?

Aside from all the drunk driving.. she could kill someone.

She needs help. But nothing seems to be a deterrent to her. How many animals does she have to kill? Or will it take for her to mow down a child whilst she’s drunk and uninsured.

So she’s been too busy with ‘serious things’ to go to court but coincidentally has managed to find time to be on podcasts which released around the time she’s in the press because of her court cases.

Whatever else you can say about her, she is a top class self promoter. She’s never missed an opportunity even if it’s highlighting what a dangerous, selfish oaf she is.

I see she’s changed her age again too - she used to be a couple of years older than me. She’s now 2 years younger. She’s as good at counting as she is at driving

I don't think people are unreasonable to object most strongly to the way she lives her life as and when it impacts on others. and people are justifiably angry to see her seemingly get away with flouting laws that the rest of us abide by, especially when it involves animals and (her) children.
Incredibly, it seems as though she still has a hard core group of fans who still think she's a great mum and has been an unfortunate victim in life. Frankly, the more publicising of all the crimes she commits without a backward glance, the better.
