Recommendations for best places UK for a solo long weekend?

I am desperate for a break. I haven’t had one on my own for over 20 years! I need to recharge my batteries.

not interested in Spas, has to be UK.

I like pottering around, love parks, seaside, interesting pretty places. I don’t want London. I was thinking two nights in a hotel. I won’t have a car so somewhere I will have plenty to see by foot for 2 days. I’ll be spending evenings in hotel room with wine and bubble bath so not bothered about nightlife. Does such an area exist?

Harrogate? Have been to Southwold on the bus but we were staying in Beccles.

@Dogonthebed Where did you go? Is there anywhere you'd recommend? Thinking of taking off by myself next weekend. Birthday was a total non-event and DH, DS or DD can spare the time to celebrate/spend with me so off I go!
