Depends on what I'm doing with them. Being used in something where I don't want extra water or going into a bag where it will make everything else wet, yes, dry them - with whatever is lying around, piece of kitchen roll, tea towel, shirt sleeve.

If going into something that doesn't matter if it's wet - broccoli being steamed for dinner, for example - no, don't dry it.

I was fruit and dry on a clean tea towel which then goes into the washing machine.
