@minipie do you think she should have been referred to dermatologist with this level of different spots everywhere?

This is the same as Acnecide which you said she already has

I suggest trying SA Smoothing Cream made by Cerave (can get it in Boots). If it’s keratosis pilaris that will help pretty quickly

I second the cerave SA smoothing cream, that will likely clear it up with daily use.

Do we put it on all her acne area or just the part that is on her back legs at

Just the legs for the SA smoothing cream. It’s not an acne cream. I am suggesting it on the assumption the legs are not acne but something like keratosis pilaris.

Re referral to dermatologist: without seeing her level of face/back acne it is hard to say. Dermatologists can prescribe stronger stuff but will want you to have tried the less strong options first which can be done via GP.

For her face/chest/back acne, the options via GP should include Epiduo cream (which is benzoyl peroxide plus adapalene, a retinoid, so a bit more effective than Acnecide) and/or specialist contraceptive pill like Dianette, and/ or antibiotics (personally I’m not keen on these due to gut effects but many people have found they work). I would also recommend Cerave cleanser.

A dermatologist would be able to prescribe Spironolactone or Roaccutane but Roaccutane is last resort due to nasty potential side effects including MH issues.
