Are you Sam's mum or Sam? Your Mother's Day flowers from Bloom & Wild are at my house by mistake!

If you are Sam's mum and wondering where your Bloom & Wild flowers are, or you are Sam and wondering why your mum hasn't received her flowers, they are in limbo in a vase at my house, via an incorrect name & address label, the Royal Mail, a 'while you were out' card, and my green recycling bin.

Sorry, I had to open the box to find the card.

The card inside says 'sending hugs' and message begins, 'Some flowers for mother's day since you're a great mum ...', and ends '... lots of love Sam x'.

Meanwhile I'm trying to tell B&W on their website that they've mistakenly stuck a label on the box with my name and address on, and and these flowers should not have come to me, but they don't seem to have an option for that one.

I hope you can give your mum a call instead and B&W sort you out with some replacement flowers. Looks like they will ask for the order number.

I had an issue with bloom and wild recently, I emailed their customer support email and they were EXCELLENT - answered immediately, rectified the issue etc. Does any of the paperwork have an order number on it? Hopefully they will resend to the correct recipient.

I am thinking that @AsTheyPulledYouOutOfTheOxygenTent might be onto something when she said not necessarily a DC.

OP there is no way anyone will be able to price it was them though. Oh actually, if they can show you an order confirmation then that would work.
Otherwise some random will just say it's theirs.

I had someone knock yesterday with a beautiful bouquet for Caroline at No 13. I gave them back, there’s no number 13 and no Caroline here!
I hope she got her flowers.

No order number but there is a 'personal code' on the card.

Ah well, my Sam says "innit" every other word and wouldn't be able to show you where Hampshire was on a map. He did give me a bar of Tony's chocolonely at 6am as a sweetner for driving him to a music competition.

I am not sure that my Sam is even aware that it's mother's day!

I'm Samuels mum, he'll be 4 in August. Doubt it was him 😁

My great-aunt, who was a Mrs Sutherland, once received some flowers addressed correctly to her. A short time later (same day) she had another delivery of flowers, addressed to Mrs Butherland at the same address. She attempted to decline them but the delivery person would not take them, so she had to keep them.

We're no further forward with the mystery. I've got the family involved now. We're not exactly NCIS mind you.

@hotpotlover one day your time will come! Your Samuel will grow up, shorten his name, and if his flowers don't arrive you can think back to this story and picture them in a vase on my kitchen table looking lovely and think, 'he's such a good boy!'

I got 2 lots of flowers from B&W the other year, both with my name and address on the outside, can't remember what gave away the second one was incorrectly labelled - possibly a different address inside the box?!
DH was panicking he'd accidentally ordered 2 on behalf of our then v young DCs, much checking of credit cards ensued. I did manage to tell B&W via online chat. Still have the vase that came with them!

😂 2 days after Mother’s Day , in the evening, there was banging at my door and repeated ringing at my doorbell .
Dog went crazy , I was washing up pots at the sink , hubby answered door to find driver had done a runner and left 2 boxes at the door .
Both of us assumed it was probably from one of my 2 daughters who don’t live with is until we noticed the name and address.
Didnt know who / where and didn’t fancy posting on the local Facebook page because who knows what can of worms that would open 😂so contacted Moonpig who eventually got back to me and told me to “ dispose “ of the flowers and they’d send the proper recipient more flowers .

Which is pretty much what B&W said - keep them and they'll look into it.

So I'm still left wondering who Sam is.
