Mother's Day Flowers - Would you be happy?

I ordered these for my mum from a high street chain discount shop.

What would you pay?

I've emailed but they will only offer £10 credit which is no use.

Last photo is from their website. I upgraded to large.

For my friends birthday I ordered a bouquet (as pictured) of 12 ivory and peach roses with 6 white freesias and 3 eucalyptus... gorgeous in the photos... tasteful, voluminous. What she received - 3 days late after me paying for next day delivery- was a "bunch" of 4 red roses, a "bunch" of 4 yellow roses and 4 bright blue hyacinths.

Absolutely hideous together. I got a refund on delivery and half my money back. Worst/best thing was they lasted for weeks....😆

I'm not entirely sure what's wrong with them, apart from not being as in bloom as the photos on the website. I'd expect to pay £20-25.

I won’t buy flowers from places online, not when I can call my local independent florist and get this delivered for £40 (including delivery)

I'd ask them for a replacement. I found the bouquet on the website and it says that the image you've posted above is for the medium bouquet so if you paid for large you should have more flowers. It looks like you've got a decent number of tulips, but not enough hyacinth, babies breath and there's no eucalyptus (or a substitute). You could have bought similar from Morrisons or the Coop for less than £15, but you always pay a premium for delivery flowers.

For future I'd really recommend Bloom and Wild. You can get a decent bouquet from there for £33, it's always largely as pictured, they last for ages and once you've signed up they send you discount codes all the time.

I highly recommend Freddie's Flowers - for £25 you get a stunning bouquet that lasts at least 2 weeks

I second Freddie’s Flowers! They last forever and are very long stemmed so you get a huge, tall, dramatic arrangement BUT they don’t come as a bouquet. They are sent as individual stems in a box with a very simple instruction booklet on how to arrange them. They are great value and excellent quality though.

I think it's poor. Yes you got 11 tulips compared to 7 in the picture. But only little hyacinths and little white.

It just looks poor. £10 is no good to you. Push for a replacement, as a pp suggested.

They won't offer a replacement or refund....

Well to start with they were £10 more than you said you would pay 😂

Flowers are smaller before they fully bloom- they will last longer if delivered in bud- photo shows 7 tulips, 5 hyacinths and gypsophilia- looks like you got more tulips, how many hyacinths did you get? Once they are arranged in a vase and fully open they will look lovely and the hyacinths will be beautifully scented.
If I didnt get 5 hyacinths as shown I would complain.
I think the £10 voucher was a generous goodwill offer if you have all the stems shown in the photo.
