Pity me this Mother's Day....

I love French Toast. Really love it. I always have it on my birthday, Mother's Day and whenever my family want to give me a treat. Over 20 years this has been going on. This is the first Mother's Day it's been just DP and me- and he has recently been diagnosed with a severe egg allergy. AIBU to think this is incredibly inconsiderate of him?

No, I'm not going to make it for myself- what would be the point of that?? And yes, DS has said he'll make me some next weekend, but I want it now.

Just know that we are all here to support you during this difficult time.

Update. He has just asked me if I moved a white Jiffy bag from his side of the bed. It appears I have recycled my Mother's Day present.....

I told him I didn't want a Jiffy bag anyway....
