Facebook just logged me out and I can't log in

Help! It says check WhatsApp and there is nothing. I don't know what to do.

Annoying timing as selling a something on marketplace later and need it to contact them/view their address!

Did it not occur to you to maybe Google and see if there was an outage OP ?. It's been on all the main media sites since just after it went down

still down in canada. my first thought was hack, but i called a friend who's account is saying the same. happy to see it mentioned here on mn.

Wish I'd known! I just spent the last hour desperately trying to re-set passwords! 🙄Seems to be back to life now, though.

Ditto! Thought I'd been hacked as none of my passwords were working!

Not just FB either! Lots of other stuff was down too.

Including Google! It's hard to Google stuff when Google is down!

I quite like the social interaction of posting. You don't need to join the thread to tell me off or suggest something obvious

Mine's OK now (NW England). but, a tip: if FB forces you to change password, don't fill in your existing password in the box, leave that blank and just click on 'forgotten password' at the bottom.

My messenger has still locked me out 🙄 but normal face book is ok

I didn't. I loaded FB, saw the log in page and thought "Hmm...I didn't log out". Then I couldn't log in, and couldn't reset my password, so assumed someone had hacked my account.

Then I googled.

Hooray! And normal life resumed....
