leakproof mini water bottle?

Does anyone have any recommendations for a very small leakproof water bottle for a minimalist handbag?!

I mean really small. I have an A7 Memobottle, which holds 180mL at the moment, and it's pretty good - but it's fairly thick plastic and has a metal cap, so still takes up a fair bit of room, although the fact that it's flat really helps. Or for running, I have a Fitly collapsible bottle that's 150mL, with a bite valve with a plastic cover. That would actually be enough for what I need, but I've had it leak before from the neck, as well as from the bite valve, and I don't know if the thin foldable plastic is robust enough for handbag use. So I'm looking for something kind of in between - more like the 130-150ml size, slightly firmer than the rollable ones, but not as solid as the memobottle, so that it's really slim and light.

I don't need lots of water; this is not for hot days or trips out or anything where I need a decent amount - I have other bottles for that. It's more for when I get a really dry mouth (which happens a lot), or a tickly throat or a need to take a tablet or whatever. I'm hoping to buy a new handbag soon and make it much smaller and more streamlined than my current one, as I carry too much and it hurts my neck, even cross body. So I'm trying to streamline things down to the very basics. I'd really like to still have a tiny bit of water with me though. But getting something small enough to fit is quite hard - most water bottles are bigger than that, and the plastic bottles that are smaller are those designed for taking creams and lotions when travelling etc - not food safe plastic, not necessarily leakproof, and not necssarily with a cap you can drink from easily. I tend to leave the water in there for a while, not always refilling it every day if I haven't needed it, so food-grade plastic matters. (Plus others give a funny taste). So I'm looking for something designed as a water bottle.

Any recommendations?

I'm trying to kick the habit of always trying to be prepared and have too much extra stuff with me and remind myself that if I really had to, I could almost always just go out and buy something at a chemist, but I know that I do randomly need plasters, tablets, concealer, lipstick, tissues, umbrella, pen, sunglasses, nail clippers, chapstick, gum, comb, shopping bag, and a few other things that I have been grateful to have had with me as needed, so I don't want to go too minimal and just take my phone, purse, and keys, although I envy those who can!! So I'm trying to get the smallest versions of everything that I can - just a couple of paracetamol or plasters rather than a pack, tiny umbrella etc. And a tiny water bottle would help. Any other suggestions of how to be more minimal would be good too.

Bought this recently for smaller handbags and hasn't leaked. 200ml and it's 13cm tall and 5.5cm in diameter

thanks, I'll check both of those out.

I suspect really I need to not bother when carrying this sort of bag, but it's really hard not having something with me. I'd love to be one of those minimalist people, but I'm not - I've got the bag now, and already it seems stuffed, somehow. I can fit everything it, but it's tight and not easy to get stuff out or even carry random extra purchases or whatever. hmmmm.

Do you actually need to drink water that regularly when on the go? Except with meals or to take prescribed meds (which I take with meals), unless I was doing a long run or hike of over an hour/in really high temps, I wouldn't need to carry water with me to drink between meals and snacks. Actually of the things on your list, the only things I routinely carry on me are medicine (see above for meals) and a pen, and obviously keys, wallet, phone. I've never had an emergency nail clipper incident! I think you maybe need to change your expectations for the sort of things you need to have with you. And make sure you drink free tap water when it's available - at work, a cafe, etc.

I don't need much water, no. But I do often get a very very dry mouth, so just want a mouthful or something at a time (or to take tablets). If I wanted an actual drink, I'd get some at a cafe or wherever. But it's more just the dryness and cough.

I probably do need to change my expectations, though! I was just thinking of what is in the little pouch in my current bag that i have actually used when out, and nail clippers are one of them - I'm sure I could have waited though, but they have come in useful, along with lipstick, concealer, and blister plasters. And tissues for sure, as I'm constantly dripping - hayfever etc. I am almost never in the car, either, so going into town, for example, is 25-30 min walk each way, or I might take the bus/train to somewhere for a while. So I don't have a stash of useful stuff little tissues, water, bags, etc in the car.

I am not one of those people who have lots of handbags and who switch them as needed to suit the outfit or occasion - I tend to just have one bag on the go for pretty much everything, apart from travel, though I do sometimes change if I have a day out or something when I do need things like water or sunscreen that are just a bit more than everyday items.

@Leafbuds did you manage to find a good mini bottle? I’m always on the lookout for exactly the same reasons.

I sometimes use a cuboid Sistema bottle in my handbag - I think it came from a lunchbox.

That mini one from Asda linked above is brilliant. I am hoping they still do them as I have lost mine.

Lidl has some excellent, small metal bottles arm, next to the till.

I did, actually - I found several companies that sell bottles for packaging, and some that do 'postal bottles' - flat bottles that could go through letterboxes. I ordered some samples, and one was a good size. The opening is a bit tiny, but that's OK - I just wanted it for little sips or taking tablets or whatever, and it fits in a very tiny handbag.

Thanks @Leafbuds I’ll do a search as they sound interesting and thanks @scrivette for me it’s a special trip to Asda so I was hoping it might be worthwhile, and thanks @BadSkiingMum too, great to have such quick responses! @MrsSkylerWhite we are nowhere near a Lidl but will try to pop in one if passing on my travels soon, as I like to have spares.
