I tend to put on Gentleman Jack or Downton. If it’s a film I like Always and Hope Floats.

TomatoketchupfromMandS · 18/02/2024 16:50

Film: While you were sleeping with Sandra Bullock

SpongeBob2022 · 18/02/2024 16:52

Friends or The Good Wife as first choices.

Big Bang, Greys, Criminal Minds, Modern Family or Graham Norton as alternatives.

Ted Lasso

Scrolled all this way to find this.

Ted Lasso is an absolute masterpiece and I have done many rewatches. I did a binge at Christmas and I'm already twitching to start it again.

Such a wonderful comforting show with so so many layers. Also have a good blub throughout.

Old coronation street. From the late seventies, eighties. Jean Alexander is worth the watch alone , loved the dialogue back then. Corrie is complete and utter shite now, watched an episode the other night for the first time in years, bloody awful.

The Princess Bride.....inigo montoya in leather trousers oooooooohhhhh

Labyrinth

Willow

Movies I watched as a kid that took me far far away from the shite real life I had, basically.

Willow especially, although the special effects are so bad now. He's such an adorable character and Val Kilmer is at his prettiest here. Ooooooooh again.

TammyJones · 18/02/2024 20:09

The Crown
Downton

Stardust
