Please help with this messed up London itinerary

We are going to London tomorrow and I think I have messed up by booking too many things that are spread apart and it will be a nightmare!

We are parking on someone's drive and can arrive from 9am, so will aim to get there at that time, though we have a 2 hour journey so delays may occur. Then it's about an hour to central London on the tube. We have the London Eye booked for 12.45 - time to join the queue, and plan a quick lunch either just before joining the queue or while in it. Then we are seeing Cabaret and need to arrive at 6.30. I know the Eye and Cabaret are close to each other, but I have fucked up by booking a Premier Inn in Islington.

So we have to get there to check-in and have something to eat (dinner) all by 6.30. Obviously it depends how long it takes us to get on the Eye - website says 20 minutes queue but I've heard tales of 2 hours. What happens if we can't check-in until after the show - will they re-sell the room? That's my main worry, but also annoyed that we may end up going back and fore on the tube when we could have just stayed down by the river if I'd booked a different hotel or booked the eye for Wednesday! Also, due to be cloudy on the Eye so that's annoying too...

Any advice would be brill!

If I'm arriving late to the hotel I always give them a call to let them know and request for them to keep the room for me. You'll be fine if you let them know in advance.

Thanks everyone - I was definitely over-thinking!

DS2 has requested the Eye and is adamant he doesn't care if it's cloudy - he was warned on booking that might be the case. Think he just wants to say he's been on it... I've already been on it a few times anyway and DS1 would rather not bother but I wanted us to stay together!

Despite everyone's excellent advice I've realised I can change our booking to Wednesday so I've done that and we'll do St Paul's tomorrow instead - DS1's choice. Still involves a bit of toing and froing unless we do the early check-in but I can see that's not really a big deal in fact. I did actually live in London for a few years in my 20s and have visited many a time but it seems the older I get the more I over-think this kind of stuff whereas I used to just be happy to turn up at places with a credit card and a carefree outlook!

Cabaret ticket says to arrive early for pre-show experience so will definitely do that. I think I read one thread on here about 10 years ago about someone's PI or TL room being re-sold and have lived in fear of it since for some reason 😕.

Pity you've moved the eye. Lovely sunny day here today.

Yes, I see that on the Met, but we were booked for tomorrow, which looks to be cloudy, as does Wednesday - hey ho.

Call the premier inn to confirm your reservation ad that it will be a late check in. Give them an idea of the sort of time you are likely to arrive at the hotel.
The London eye queues move quite quickly and you have a reservation, so you should be fine.
I would pre-book your restaurant so you know you won't have to wait for a table. Just an idea, there is a nice pizza express less than 5 min walk from the london eye.

you could try the Oxford Circus one for dinner. There is also a cool food hall at the seven dials in Covent Garden. Good of you don’t have much time or if you do and want to try different things!

You're overthinking OP.

Park car. Travel to hotel and drop your bags.
Travel to south bank and have a relaxing brunch. Do London eye. Last time I went queue was about 20 mins if you've booked.

You'll then have the entire afternoon before cabaret and can have either a pre or post theatre meal.

Correct. This is my plan too. Oodles of time
