I think i know the answer really but Just want people's thoughts.

Shes 13 he's 14. My understanding is they starting chatting through a friend. But only actually met in person once as a small group. They were talking via video call. He started over questioning dd when ever she came of video call or put it on mute to talk etc or doing her own thing . She decided to stop talking to him because he was being a bit nasty . She's not spoken to him in 9 months. About a week ago he went to her school as there was some type of activity going on which meant some kids from his school went to dd school. Dd never spoke to him and kept our of the way . This seems to have triggered something.

Also his friend recently started at dd school I'm not sure if that's got anything to do with it or not.

I'm not sure if I report to 101 or wait till after half term and report to safe guarding at the school.

Dd friend is the green the boy is in the black

Fucking hell - YES! Report this to the police at once OP.

WetBandits · 11/02/2024 12:41

Wtf, of course you report it to the police, right now!

Why on earth would you even think of waiting until after half term when the poor kid could have been stabbed by then?!

MiddleagedBeachbum · 11/02/2024 12:41

Yes I’d report to school and police

He could be all talk but I wouldn’t want to take that risk.

DarkAcademia · 11/02/2024 12:46

Yes 100% report. Don't hesitate or second guess yourself. Do you have enough information to point the police directly to him? (full name, address etc.).

Even if he is just posturing, he needs to learn IMMEDIATELY that this kind of thing is unacceptable and have the shit scared out of him by an unsmiling visit from a police officer.

Dogfisher · 11/02/2024 12:50

Please take this advice OP - I work in safeguarding and this is an absolute 100% report NOW.

We don't know his address. Just his school.
