Just that really! Let me know your thoughts!

They're all absolutely rank.

HDready · 09/02/2024 12:19

Never found a decent wine. Some of the sparkling ones are better. Bees Knees, Nosecco are two names I remember. But all quite sweet really.

Candleabra · 09/02/2024 12:20

They’re all horrible. I prefer fruit cordials with sparkling water or mocktails in a nice glass.

I haven’t found any wine I like - if you like wine / prosecco very sweet you might be ok. If you like gin the 0% tanqueray is pretty convincing with a decent tonic!

Bluevelvetsofa · 09/02/2024 13:19

Tanqueray gin with Fevertree tonic is acceptable. Everything else- no.

longtompot · 09/02/2024 14:10

Nosecco was the best but even that still has a funny after taste. I think I'd much prefer a good cordial like elderflower and sparkling water.

Garlicdoughball · 09/02/2024 14:27

Aqua libre infused water, the mint one

Alloveragain3 · 09/02/2024 14:28

I hate paying good money for what's essentially a fizzy juice.

I've never found a good one.

When pregnant, I had a few zero alcohol beers or ciders, which I found just okay.

morningafterglow · 09/02/2024 14:30

All rank, sweet or with a weird aftertaste. Posh cordial with sparkling water or ginger ale in a wine glass is my preference.

Firkinhavinalaugh · 09/02/2024 14:31

Look for dealcoholised products as these will be less sweet - they will also taste more like “wine” having been made like wine. You will pay more for them though.

undercoverhero74 · 09/02/2024 14:31

I quite enjoy the alcohol free Freixenet. It's far nicer than Nosecco and the bottles are pretty.

Suchardchoccy · 09/02/2024 14:33

I have enjoyed Nozecco throughout my pregnancies

Florin · 09/02/2024 14:34

We have tried a lot and also used a lot as drain cleaner!
our favourites are:
wolf bass zero Sauvignon
Mcguigan zero sauvignion
Not guilty Pinot Grigio

PieAndLattes · 09/02/2024 14:36

They’re all rank. AF gin is much better and Sainsburys do a good AF cider - especially if it’s served really cold. I’m not a Guinness fan but aficionados really seem to rate the AF version.

Notstrongandstable · 09/02/2024 14:39

The only one I've tried is the McGuigans and it was grim. One glass and threw it away.
As PP mentioned the AF Guinness is like a proper drink, if you like that kind of thing.
I think if you're a serious wine drinker the only thing is to abstain really, you're never going to get the same taste

Mrsjayy · 09/02/2024 14:40

Harshreality · 09/02/2024 12:18

They're all absolutely rank.

they are horrible I'd rather just have a .ginger beer or something.

Bananacentral · 09/02/2024 14:41

Eisberg Prosecco (Sparkling Blanc) is by far the best, they used to do it in Waitrose but have stopped and super hard to get anywhere. So I bulk buy when I can find it. (Kept me going through many dry Januarys!)

I will drink Nozecco, but it’s not my favourite.

I’ve switched to alcohol free lager (not as classy but much closer to alcohol taste 🤣)

Baaaaaa · 09/02/2024 14:53

I ordered nosecco from an online shop and got Kylie Minogue pink fizz as a substitute. I never would have picked it but it was very nice imo.

Twinstudy · 09/02/2024 14:58

I like the m&s rose fizzero. It's not too sweet

Twinstudy · 09/02/2024 14:59

Also in case you're remotely interested in alcohol free lager, Asahi 0.0 is really good

coodawoodashooda · 09/02/2024 15:01

smooze · 09/02/2024 14:55

I don't drink and find a lot of AF wines very drinkable now - my favourites atm are Natureo muscat and this riesling. I like a bottle of sparkling tea too

Yeah I think if you are permanently af they all taste better. If you are having the odd af night then they are not so good.

wonderinglywondering · 09/02/2024 15:03

Thomson & Scott Noughty. They do a white and rose fizz and a red. Not tried the red but the fizz is good, much better than Nozeco.

Sainsbury's do their own sparkling white which is only £2.75 and very nice.

BaronessBomburst · 09/02/2024 15:07

The sparkling Frexinet one is drinkable, as is Viverty. The rest are pretty horrid.
They can all be used to make lower alcohol cocktails though, such as an Aperol Spritz. I use real Aperol; I've not tried the alcohol free version.
Any still wines I've tried have been undrinkable.
