Damaged textiles recycling

I'm sorting through my clothes and some of them aren't in a good enough condition to give to charity and our kerbside recycling now only does wearable clothes, which these aren't.

I've googled and can't find anyone who'll collect these, would cost a fortune, as they also want wearable clothes.

Any ideas? It's not the kind of damage that can be repaired, like a cardi with a huge hole in it.

Your local recycling centre (tip or dump) should have a textiles recycling bin.

You're right that they shouldn't be taken to chairty. I've heard so many times people suggesting to donating it to charity shops thinking they will take it if its labeled as rags. They don't need to waste time sorting through the rubbish.

On the off-chance any of the items are 100% cashmere, Turtle Doves will accept them to turn into other items – and give you a nice pair of fingerless gloves in return.
