I’m just wondering if this sounds like adult-onset asthma and whether it’s worth going to the GP about it, the symptoms are very mild.
Ever since I caught COVID 2 years ago whenever I have gotten a cold it’s given me a wheezy cough that lingers for weeks. I went to the GP the first time it happened as I had been coughing for 6 weeks and he listened to my chest and said it sounded normal and was likely a stubborn virus. But it now happens every time I get a cold, and on a normal day to day basis I tend to have a dry wheezy cough in the mornings and evenings, and my throat feels kind of tickly.
I don’t know much about asthma, none of my family members have it. I don’t think I’ll ever get an asthma attack, just an annoying dry cough with a high pitch wheeze. Is it worth going to the GP? I’m 29 and otherwise healthy
