So the past month since starting my new job I've been suffering with hip, knee, fingers and toe pain, in my hip the right side is like electric zapping feeling and the pain in my toes, fingers and knee is like a toothache I have a feeling what it all could be if you think it's something you can relate too let me know, I won't know exactly till I go and see a doctor about it, it's crucial I should as my job requires me to look after children on the yard or dinner hall and without a doubt your constantly on your feet and yes it's only hour and a bit but I'm walking half an hour down to the school and back + on morning runs, I'm doing food shopping inbetween every 1st day of the week, I'm none stop.

Is there any sort of pain relief apart from paracetamol and inflammatories I can use or take to help these pains I don't want to rely on tablets, I had a stint with paracetamol once where I got addicted thinking I needed them when I didn't.

It runs through my body and I just can't deal with it some days. I'm only 33 so it shows how bad my health is, I'm on making a difference because I have 4 children of my own and I feel utterly useless 🥺. Sorry long post.

Using paracetamol and ibuprofen together is probably what a doctor would suggest.

It's really important to get a medical opinion on that many sources of pain, though; living in pain is wretched. Good luck.

They might suggest gels like Voltarol (diclofenac) rather than taking tablets that have to go through your digestion (at least, that's what I would have suggested if I was still working in a pharmacy). Otherwise I'd recommend self-referring to physiotherapy if you can (or ask the GP to do it if you're not in an area where physio take self referrals), they might be able to help with gentle exercises/posture suggestions to make this go away. You're right to be very careful with long term painkiller use.
