Walking and toilet stops.

How do you manage if you're a frequent wee-er? I've just walked 3 miles, went to the loo seconds before I started and was very much in need at the end. Took about an hour. I'm doing a 26 miles walk in May. How will I cope?? There will be pit stops I'm sure but presumably not every 3 miles!

@BoobyDazzler it took an hour today bur I took about a million photos.

I don't need to get up in the night, and I don't really have leakages, but I do drink a lit abd therefore pee a lot. I feel rubbish if I don't drink though.

I’m exactly the same. I need to drink a lot when exercising so I pee a lot. Have no wee issues the rest of the time.

I did the 3 peaks challenge for charity and I have quite a weak bladder. I just went when I needed to go tbh. Take a plastic bag to put used tissues in as you shouldn't leave them on the ground put the bag in a bin at the end. There were some portaloos at a couple of places but they were few and far between.
You just get used to it honestly.
It was very crowded but most of the time I did find a Bush or gate or wall to go behind.
Right towards the end tho I couldn't care less who saw because I was so tired.. I just walked a bit off the route.. a load of men walking past did see me but we were all so exhausted no one reacted at all.

Cut out caffeine if you drink it.
Hydrate in the days before but not too much for a few hours before it.

I also once got the runs halfway up a mountain. It was beyond horrific. But these things sometimes happen. I continue to climb mountains. I'm not letting my weak bladder or occasional stomach problems stop me..
Before anyone asks I did my best to completely bury it so it wasnt just lying out there for people and animals to find.. it also was quite far away from the actual trail.
Luckily it wasn't a busy route but I was in a group so it was quite embarrassing altho they were all very kind about it.
But basically don't let embarrassment stop you from accessing sport/the outdoors. I bet many people who are also doing that walk will have experienced similar at some point. They won't judge you.

We walk a lot, and it's the basis of our holiday. I swear by a she wee and wee bags!

What's a water bag? I have a she wee and had a major fail with it so scared to use it again. Need to practice at home I think.

Surely with a she wee you still need to get somewhat undressed? I'm sure I would get covered.
