Did anyone take their kids to see Blackpink at BST Hyde park last year?

I went to BST last year to see Guns n Roses and it was amazing but not somewhere I would want to take kids. My daughter was a bit gutted when she found out that Blackpink were also on but I told her we could go and see them or someone else next year.

Ive just spotted that her favourite band in the world Stray Kids are playing this years event. I know her and her sister will be desperate to go. Did anyone take kids to see Blackpink and found that it was ok? They will be 10 and 14 in the summer when it’s on. Thanks.

Hopeful bump for the evening crowd!

It was extremely family friendly for tweens and teens. Plenty of space, easy to get drinks & food, nice toilets and great atmosphere. Wouldn’t hesitate to go again.

I did, with two 14 year olds. It was brilliant!

I went with my 9 year old. It was very child friendly.

That’s very reassuring thank you. I did think that the facilities were great but there was a real crush near the front and there were some very hammered people by the end of the night. I did think that a k-pop concert might have a bit of a different vibe to a guns n roses one though!

My 65 year old mum and I (40) are also planning on taking our K-pop mad 6 year old daughter & 9 year old son to BST Hyde park in July to see stray kids. This is the first festival I’ve attended with the kids and wonder if anyone has been with such a young child before (6 year old). We are planning on booking the VIP areas. We want to get the child+guardian tickets x2. We saw the general admission tickets for £100 (would be £200+ for our family of 4 I think?) however it’s going to be baking so wanted the extra help vip access can provide (shading, smaller queues and possible seating areas?). Any tips for families with young kids would be great!
