Thinking of taking Dc (14&12) to London. What to see?

It's been 10 years since we last went, which was my third time there. Thinking of taking them for a few days mid-week in the middle of September, considering Harry Potter studios (1 day), one show and one day to visit something. What would be your absolute must see?

Harry potter and the cursed child is a great show though a commitment as it’s 7 hours over 2 shows.

Six the musical is ace and shorter. Hamilton’s great and they are old enough.

Camden town could be fun for a mooch about. At that age I thought it was so cool.

The tower of London is cool for something historic, or get a short train out of town to visit Windsor Castle which is pretty epic.

Richmond is nice for a day. There are deer running round Richmond park, lots of lovely cafes and shops and you can get a boat ride back into town. But that’s where we Londoners go to escape the city so may not be your vibes 😊

If they’re arty the tate modern is great and just over a bridge from St Paul’s Cathedral so you can wander over and have a look round there too.

We love London and are very happy to have it as our home :-)

If you haven’t seen the Lion King musical, then that’s a must-do. I’d also suggest the Tower of London.

Are they in to anything specific? London can meet most interests!

Science/Natural History/British museum

RIB along the Thames to the Barrier - they really pick up speed once you get away from the centre of town; they make the ride fun and exciting (cue James Bond theme). The history of the Thames and some of the buildings is a little dodgy, but well worth it as you see so much of historic and new London as you wizz by. Couple of firms do this. Or get an UBer boat - they do much the same routes, but slower as it is a commuter boat
