Before I signed up for an account I twice lost my streak when the game reset but the old stats remained (number of games played and longest streak). But current streak went back to zero. So I have some understanding of your outrage.

@Hepzibar gutted for you! All my stats reset to zero when I had to replace my phone last summer, it’s so annoying
