How to improve my facial scar

I Had an accident at the end of October. I have been told my new scar looks like a wrinkle which is making me feel worse and down about it considering I used to always do my skin care to prevent fine lines or wrinkles. I'm turning 30 this year and I feel like this scar looks ageing now. I know I can hide it with my hair and headbands but it's making my self esteem suffer. I'm already using silicon gel twice a day and using spf 50. Is there anything else I can use to help this fade to almost invisible if that's possible.

@Alphabet1spaghetti2 you’re so right I was receiving therapy but but my therapist has been ill for a long time and I haven’t received a replacement so I’m really struggling atm, but I am trying to take back control and I’m trying to feel strong. It’s just some days I look at the scar and it makes me cry all day because I was abused. I know it’s a new scar but hopefully it will heal well and I won’t notice it at all and I can enjoy my life.

@OctoblocksAssemble sorry to hear your dd was scalded, I could imagine that would be a lot to go through. When things like that happen to you it’s hard to get over. I’m glad her scars have faded and I hope one day she makes peace with it all.
