I normally used a tin of condensed soup in my pasta bake but I can't seem to get hold of any. Woukd regular soup work?

DH made me his 'masterpiece of cookery' on my 21st birthday
'Chicken a la Campbells Condensed Soup' with new tinned new potatoes and frozen peas. Wasn't bad.
But that was early 80s.

Mind you, I had been to the pub after work.

I've used regular soup plenty of times as an impromptu sauce for many things. Added various herbs etc to jazz it up. Have used regular chicken soup, added crushed garlic and double cream to it for a pasta bake before, turned out rather good!
