Recommendation for nice candles?

I have a an electric diffuser upstairs filled with White Company Seychelles

'Tis the scent of dreams. I love it.

But their candles are very expensive whereas the oils are cheap in comparison and last a long time

What cheaper candles would you suggest? I've starting using them whilst I clean the kitchen in the evening Smile makes it all feel very enjoyable strangely

I've got Asda Pomegranate burning right now and it's very nice!

I've heard Aldi mentioned on threads I've googled but I've looked twice in my local Aldi and they don't sell candles? Maybe I'm looking in the wrong place

Have you a Homesense near you? I swear by DW Home candles which they sell.

I'm a big fan of IKEA candles, they're only £1.50 and the huge ones are £3, they have a huge selection of fragrances and burn really well

Sadly no IKEA near me Sad

About 40 miles away

I do have a Home Sense about 25 minutes away though, and a TK maxx 15 minutes away

However, I would like to buy something I can keep buying if I like it. And the very nature of TK maxx/home sense is when it's done, it's gone and different stock is out next time

Make your own! It's ridiculously easy and so cheap. I started doing it because I was spending far too much money and now it's a hobby. You can make a candle for about £3. Buy a candle making kit to get to the hang of it and then it's just a case of buying wax, the wicks and a white co dupe fragrance oil made for candles e.g

Seychelles is my FAVOURITE scent! Can I ask which diffuser you use please?

Aldi always stock candles, lots of Jo Malone dupes - definitely worth checking your local.

I love the Habitat candles, they stock them in Sainsburys and often have deals on!

@judgementfail thanks so much! Will look into doing this when my little one goes down tonight. My only concern would be the faff of adding wax etc but I'm sure the website explains

@Pinkrose19 It's gorgeous isn't it?! I use the White company electric diffuser (white with a light wood effect bottom), but you can put the oils in any diffuser at all

OP, have a look at small independent companies rather than large corporates, who supply mass produced candles that everyone has. I love these as there is no wastage and the scents really last. Good Aura Co.
