I have recently been approved for an access card. I am wondering where I can use it.
Does anyone have any ideas? I don't find the website that helpful!

I'm not sure exactly which card you mean, sorry. Attractions usually say on their own websites what sort of thing they accept for their reduced/ carer tickets

I had a look on the access card site, the purpose of the card seems to be that you can use it to shorthand your needs without detailing your medical condition all the time. It doesn't seem to offer discounts etc on its own but you can check disability accommodations on the site in advance of a visit if they are signed up.

This page on the site allows you to search by location and venue type, but you can use the card wherever you go (though companies that aren't signed up might not know what it means)

Which symbols do you have on it? If you have a +1 for an essential companion, then loads of places take it. Theme parks, theatres, tourist type attractions, festivals, concerts etc. I've used mine a lot to get an essential companion ticket for free.

If you have the queuing symbol, then you should be able to show it to somebody (you might need to give an explanation of what it means), and this should allow you to bypass the queue, or at least be able to sit down somewhere.

The website explains what all the symbols mean.
