Newborn sleep tips

Hi my ds is 2.5 weeks old and last night wanted to feed every 2hr sometimes less
as soon as I put him in his bed he wakes up after a minute and cries and wants to feed again despite him emptying both breasts
so I think he’s doing it for comfort ??

don’t know if all newborns are light sleepers
but when his older siblings are around or any noise he stirs and wakes . I’ve tried to put white noise on tv at quite a high volume (20) but it doesn’t block all the sound from rest of house

I’m very tired and have a migraine as well as lost quite a bit of blood during my epist. (1.2L)

any tips would be appreciated

I used Baby Wisperer method: watch closely for signs of tiredness (yawning at this age, rubbing eyes and pulling ears in older babies). At this young age babies can only stay awake for 1-1.5 hours. You have 10 minutes to act before Baby becomes overtired so act fast - take them to a quiet room, quickly change nappy if necessary. Swaddle (their arms only ) very lightly taking care not to cause overheating. Place them on your shoulder and pat them between shoulder blades. You can make a shooing noise, I used a CD for that purpose. When they are calm, place them on their side and keep patting between the shoulder blades. Keep going for 15-20 minutes until they are almost in deep sleep. Roll them on the back, step away and hope for the best. I also co-slept in the early weeks. Lullaby Trust has advice on how to make co-sleeping as safe as possible. I hope it helps
