Why don’t we have coupon offers like America does?

Watched Queenpins the other day and really enjoyed it but it made me wonder why we in the Uk don’t get decent coupon offers?

I mean we don’t even get BOGOF anymore

They were good times, Tesco closed the scheme down the day William and Kate got married to keep it out of the papers.

I ended up with literally £1000's of free stuff from that.

I remember Tesco's misprice policy as I worked on their customer service desk. Any misprices meant that you were refunded the difference and got the product for free. One woman got a free X-box in my store from that. I have a feeling she was on the lookout for errors as she often got overcharged. Fair play to her though.
