What tall, floor-standing houseplant would grow in this shady corner?

Here is a picture of said shady corner which, as you see, is looking a bit too minimalist! My style is slightly rustic, despite the gloss cabinets (saving up for new kitchen) and I'm not keen on Yucca's or anything spiky, having being impaled by my friend's specimen one too many times. I formerly had quite the reputation for killing plants that came into my care and although I've improved slightly I'd love something in the unkillable / maintenance category if possible 😉 I hate fake houseplants so that's out.

Any ideas?

It's the far corner of a north facing kitchen that gets a decent amount of ambient light.

Please excuse me unswept floor, am in a post-Xmas slattern phase.

If you got a plant stand that might allow the plant to get a bit more of the light?

I have a Dracaena marginata that does very well in my north facing hall

Weeping Fig (Ficus). Absolutely bomb-proof. Mine is almost 30 years old and thrives on neglect!
