Manager being unfairly treated

i feel like my manager is being unfairly treated by her higher ups. She is being left out of meetings and being made to look incompetent via emails and in meetings on purpose. She is not being given direction from above and then told her decisions are wrong even though higher up can’t decide what the priorities are and are disagreeing. I know this is for my manager to bring up but she’s trying to keep the peace. Do I just sit back? Or is there anything I can do

I don't have any advice, but being a manager can be really lonely so it is really nice that you both have noticed and that you care.

Thankyou for replying, she’s an excellent manager and it’s awful to see

Looks like they will have a case of constructive dismissal soon

It would probably be helpful for you to document what you see happening to her - times/dates/events/who did what etc. This will be very helpful to her if she raises a grievance or brings a constructive dismissal case. Have you let her know discreetly you've noticed? I echo @Wowzel 's comments.

I didn’t think of this that is an excellent idea! I’ve got 3 colleagues who I work with and they have noticed too. I’m just going to have a read up on constructive dismissal out of interest, I haven’t heard this term before

Do you think I should mention to her that I’ve noticed?

Don't tell her you've noticed, but I would ensure you tell her she's a great manager and you enjoy working for her.
I've been in your managers position and honestly the best thing was the people I managed telling me they enjoyed working for me, got me through a tough time.
