Tell me about your hobbies - I need ideas

I find myself with more spare time as my DC get older and would love a hobby but struggle to think of anything.

My DH and DC both have loads of hobbies and DH thinks I am being too fussy, which I probably am. I already do quite a lot of exercise but I see it as a necessity, I don’t enjoy it and would happily never do it again if I thought it wouldn’t have any health consequences. I get bored with it easily so have tried almost all types - Pilates, yoga, weights, classes etc. I can’t see something I hate as a hobby.

I am not artistic in the least so crafts etc. are a no go, I don’t have any patience at all for stuff like that. I bake with my DC and again don’t enjoy it and would never do it if not for them enjoying it.

So please give me inspiration, what are your hobbies and how did you find them?

@CuttingMeOpenthenHealingMeFine volunteering has helped me so much. I volunteer at a foodbank (trussel trust).

Swimming - I go two-three times a week. I learn by watching various swim coaches on TikTok and then I’ll practice on my own. I can’t afford proper swimming lessons alongside my gym membership, unfortunately!

LEGO - It’s expensive, but I only buy the sets I LOVE.

I’m trying to get back into reading too because I’m in a massive slump.
