she gets dla but i didn’t agree with how much she was getting so did a determination which has come back that they’re not changing it. my dd recently turned 5 she’s autistic getting her to bed is hard and she is up again every few hours she can get really upset and I have to calm her down the decision letter says she doesn’t meet the threshold the decision letter also says she has no extra difficulties moving around which isn’t true because she can have meltdowns out in public or run off but now this has got to go to tribunal and I’m so frustrated with it all and don’t have the energy for it

What rate does she receive?

I'd assume moving around means physically?

Did you have medical reports to back up what you said on your claim form?

This happened to me ,I have two girls who are autistic with learning disabilities too.
They would run off, no fear of traffic, strangers etc.

It went to Trib unal. Take your child with you as I was told to

When they saw what she was like we got the money.

Had a tribunal for both of them ,

Now have a blue badge for the car too

You have the right to appeal it now. It sounds like you should be getting higher rate care if you are up through the night with her due to her being autistic. It might be the wording you've used that hasn't been detailed enough. Ask around for someone who can help you look again at your evidence and wording for an appeal. Citizens Advice can help. A Carer's Centre could help.

She’s getting middle rate care and lower rate mobility

I would have thought you would be entitled to higher rate care due to still providing care through the night at her age. Not sure how they work out mobility though. Have you looked on Facebook for special needs parents groups etc? They can be really knowledgable for DLA help
