Past Use-by Date Pigs in Blankets

Bought loads of party food/nibbles for our NYE buffet yesterday including some ready to cook pigs-in-blankets. Have just noticed they have a use-by date of 30/12/23.
Do you think they'll be safe to eat when cooked thoroughly or best to chuck out?
I know I'll probably get responses for both opinions i.e. safe/not safe but just interested to know thoughts before deciding.
It's only for our household of 2 healthy adults and school-age kids; no guests, pregnant women or elderly/immunocompromised people.
What do you think?

I always think they must allow a bit of leeway when dating things, so I would cook them. Actual gone off meat smells pretty awful so it should be obvious when you open the pack if that’s the case.

Quick sniff but I think they'd be fine. They're not sentient beings and therefore have no idea of what the date is tends to be my usual logic!

Excellent, thanks. They look perfectly fresh, not slimy or "on the turn". I will indeed "give them a sniff" and will post on here tomorrow if I'm ill 😂

I'd eat them a week past best before - whack em in the oven. You'll be grand.

Forgot to reply earlier...we ate them and are all alive to tell the tale...no funny tummies either! (I practically cremated them though as misread the temperature instructions on packet but never mind.)
