Bedroom is complete ish b4 and after pics

Negatives first . I messed up the car picture and have to remove it , some of the white came of from the colour wall. I got paint on the carpet.

Positives. It's taken me a long time to get to this stage although it's not 100% it looks like a kids room. And not like temporary accommodation so on the whole I'm happy with it and I think the boys will like it to.

The second I clicked on this I thought, "Is this the one where everyone wanted you to move the bed from the window"?! It looks fantastic. I really love the wall and rug match. Welcome home to your sons!

Thank you. Yes your totally right they will just see its bright and colourful. They won't even notice the wrong bits. That's why i have not removed the car picture i dont think they will even question it. They wanted rainbow colours so that's what they have . Ds 7 told me he likes green and minecraft . Ds8 just kept saying he likes red blood and demons . So I had to kind of choose for him.

Is the last picture a before photo of the same room? If so, that’s really amazing. I love the rug, it’s lovely. It’s difficult adjusting to life outside of temporary accommodation, really hard. Well done!

The room looks amazeballs, well done!!! How did you do the rainbow triangle wall? I’m sorry, I don’t know what it’s called - the only thing I can think of calling it other than rainbow wall is crazy paving but that seems extremely insulting to the masterpiece you’ve created!

I remember my dad doing a crazy paving drive way when I was a kid 🤣. It's not insulting does look like crazy paving. It's just done with frog tape and different colours. Took me ages though.

How do you cope without wardrobes? My kids have a double wardrobe each, plus a chest of drawers each. I can't imagine not having proper storage for their seemingly endless amount of clothes.

Their clothes are kept in my room. Their room just has toys and stuff .

I'm quite excited to show them. I'm glad I finished tonight. And not just before they came back . Gives me time to sort out the spare room because I Dumped some stuff in there so want to sort that tomorrow.

Kids are home. They were so happy with their room. The smiles and dancing a round the room was amazing. They are really happy. It felt quite emotional 🥰

Thank you . I still feel like im still making a journey at the moment. I feel like I may change it when I feel I have achieved what I hope to. Its also a reminder to myself not to go back there.

And yes there's a huge story it's never just been about the house. But I have to put things in separate boxes and tackle one thing at a time.
