Any suggestions for a good board game for 2 people

DH and I are home alone on New Year's Eve so thought we might play a board game.
all the games we have are suitable for four or more
Any ideas for something good to play alongside a takeaway and a bottle of wine?

We always end up playing Rummy but might relearn Cribbage.
But if it has to be a board game Scrabble I suppose.
