Please help me with these issues

I really want to address some personal issues before I begin a New Year.

They are completely unrelated to each other, but if anybody can offer any advise/reassurance on some of them, that would be great.

  1. I’d love to get my driving license. I have had lessons on and off for years and taken the theory test twice due to it expiring. Not a bad driver at all but very nervous for the test. The lessons were very intense and I don’t cope well under a lot of pressure. It seemed the slightest slightest thing was the end of the world during the lessons and just it kept putting me off.
  2. I am a SAHM which I love, but been a SAHM for 2 years now and do miss socialising and earning my own money. I have a computer and can arrange childcare. I would love to do some work (ideally from home - not virtual assistant) but unsure what I can actually apply for. I’d love to work for myself doing something admin related but… doing what?
  3. I need to start being a straight forward person who stops letting other people walk all over me and boss me about. How do I do this?! Massive people pleaser and it’s always causing problems for me.

Hello! Regarding the third point, in what situations do people boss you about? And are they friends and family, acquaintances, strangers?

Number 2, why not a virtual assistant? They do all sorts. Mine manages my email inbox and keeps it tidy - a form of admin. I pay £25 per hour, but of course out of that she pays taxes and NI as she is self employed.

Years ago I did a sort of career questionnaire, Prospects I think it was, which suggested what has turned out to be a successful career for me. It was also quite a confidence boost. Feeling you're suited to something is quite helpful in being assertive, you know your worth!
