question for landlords..would you allow a snake?

bit of a random question,
I know!
My eldest is hoping to move into a house share in the new year, but hasn't looked at specific options yet. She's got a good,
well paid permanent fulltime graduate job and is an ideal tenant/house sharer. She's got a 2 year old corn snake she loves to bits and wonders if landlords will
allow her to bring him or if she'll have to
leave him at home with us. I know
most landlords won't allow
cats and dogs and I totally get this (having
been a landlord myself many years back)
Would this be ok with you,
if you're a landlord?

@crafty976 I allow all pets. i draw the line at more than one dog in an upstairs one bedroomed flat though! the tenants are always made aware that they are liable for any damage caused by said pets whatever they may be!

I have lodgers. I have allowed rabbits and would definitely allow snakes.

I had a friend at university with a secret snake.

Dd has a snake and two cats in her rental.

I've lived in no pets shared accommodation and someone bought a snake. They didn't ask permission and covered the box with a throw to make it look like a seat if the land lord was coming over. I didn't care, primarily as bills were included in rent. Had I been paying to run everything it needed it would have been no thanks from me.

Yes - I imagine they are pretty clean and unlikely to chew the furniture or make a lot of noise!
