What work do you do if you earn £75k+ annually?

As we get into the festive period and new year I'm taking stock and thinking of a bit of a career shift.

Currently earn 70k+ annually, commute is about 1.5 hours each way (London commuter belt to London and back) and I work at a media and advertising agency. I haven't been enjoying it for the last few years.

Ideally I'd be looking for something either remote or with a shorter commute (so ideally not a role that can only be done in London - or if London based, then the east side of London).

I'm not entirely sure what is out there that I could consider so looking for inspiration on careers I could explore.

A small hopeful bump

Mercenary. It's ethically slightly dubious, but it does keep me clear of the 9-5. Good flexibility round the school hols, although I do get very busy right after Christmas.

Don't MPs get paid more than that? And judging by our local, er, representative, it's not like they even need to turn up much.

Tax advisor. Although this is after three years training and another couple more on top post-qualified experience.

Only Fans. Make that in a week. Easy.

Cabinet minister.

Competency not an essential skill. Must have ability to delete WhatsApps and lie about it.

I am absolutely loving these suggestions!
Clearly politics is the way to go 😅
