Start by phoning 3 and asking them what they charge.

I'm with EE, at the end of my contract I swapped to a SIM only deal and they gave me loads of 'loyalty' discounts, I pay under £4 a month.

Oh m just looking todayfor a new sim only deal! I’ve been with Vodafone for ever but they are expensive. Is EE good?

You go onto the upgrade section on the Three app, and select sim only.

They do unlimited everything for £22 per month, 24 month contract.

I’ve just moved from EE because I needed to upgrade and they were just too expensive compared to others. I’d previously changed to a sim only deal with them.
Just look at your current providers sim only offers, they should have some.

I've got SIM only, unlimited text & voice, 50 GB data, for £8 monthly from O2. In a £200 Motorola I bought online. Some of my friends are amazed.

Ask for a pac code from your provider, cancel your contract , get a sim only sim eg giftgaff (no contract you just pay monthly and calls in Europe are still free!)

There's not good as such, the service will depend on where you are, most providers have coverage maps on their website or ask on a local Facebook group. There are only a very small number of different infrastructures.

For those looking for a "cheaper" Vodafone - look at Lebara. They use the Vodafone network but are a lot cheaper - I pay £4.95 a month for unlimited everything plus 5GB of data which is completely fine for my purposes, but they do bigger and unlimited data packages as well. These are 30 day rolling contracts with EU roaming included, which is another thing we now need to keep an eye out for thanks for Brexit...!!
