Anyone take vitamins or anything? I take magnesium for bones, sleep, general health etc., and I wondered what others take, if anything.

Yes, I take Menopace

SOxon · 17/12/2023 15:51

yes, called Source of Life GOLD from the Health Store, not sold in Boots.
They are hellish expensive, well worth it though. I make sure I never run
out as I really notice the difference.

Rheal Clean Greens powder in a pint of water every morning. 1x Lamberts multi guard vitamins daily. I know this is working (combined with good diet) as I'm lucky enough to have BUPA Gold full health checks, and I'm no longer deficient in anything.

@SOxon what differences do you notice? Do they come in tablet form or powder?

Puffy, - tablets, Through the winter I also have D3, same brand.
It takes a week for them to kick in. For two weeks in October when
I didn’t have any, I realised my body and mind functions better with them.
They are not addictive.

If I’m anxious about anything I take 2 Kalms, also non addictive,
an hour before bed, as good quality sleep is very important too.

No. Never have.

SleepingisanArt · 17/12/2023 16:50

Nope - nothing.

Loads... with very little proof they 'work'...

Multi vitamin with pro biotic.
Magnesium
Omega 3
Collagen (type 1 and 2)
Glucosamine and chondroitin
Soy isoflavones

(No HRT.)

I'm 56. Swim 6-8km a week and do some weights. I have arthritis so they're to help with that, and with rest and recovery.
