Charlotte Kemp Muhl, longtime partner of Sean Ono Lennon. I thought I looked alright but I feel like a sack of potatoes in comparison! Also she's 36 but somehow looks 22?

My Dad was stunning when he was young. He was tall with black hair and green eyes, so he looked incredibly striking, a bit like John Travolta. When I was primary school age he was late twenties - early thirties, and I still remember walking around with him and watching heads turn. One time this woman was literally staring with her mouth open and her husband got annoyed and threatened to thump my Dad.

I have the same thing with a girl I was at primary school with. It wasn't a fancying/lesbian/crush thing, just a sheer appreciation of how beautiful she was. I've tried to stalk her online out of curiosity to see if she's still as beautiful but can't find her.

I have this fantasy where I'm famous and that's what everyone says about me, but in reality I am so relieved not to be in the public eye as I would forever be featured in one of those vicious Daily Fail photo sprees "Pizdietz steps out in a stunning ensemble" inviting everyone to lament about how I've let myself go and how grotesque I am!!

Oohhh yes to Catherine Zeta-Jones, hard to imagine that you could be that beautiful, and adding the sheer talent on top is really taking the piss. The fairies definitely gathered around that cradle when she was born.

In real life, I was at a wedding a couple of years ago and one of the guests was extraordinarily lovely looking. I decided it was my job to tell her so, in case she didn't realise, because I wanted her to know and enjoy it. But it took me ages to pluck up the courage, and when I did I sort of stammered over it and blushed and she avoided me after that. I must have come across as a proper weirdo.

I remember working in a London office full of high powered professionals in the eighties , and about ten or so colleagues, both men and women, running excitedly past my desk saying “my goodness have you seen the person who has joined today to work on #project? She is the most beautiful person I have ever seen!!”

And of course I happened to saunter past her desk that afternoon and indeed she was one of the most beautiful people, with the most stunning bone structure, eyes, hair, figure, elegance that I had ever laid eyes on.

Later on I remember finding it interesting from an objective pov why such a random characteristic as beauty generated such intense excitement and interest in a whole bunch of fairly rational and measured people of different cultures and backgrounds not usually given to bursts of enthusiasm or surprise.

I mean it was really odd!

@SandTigerSharkFart , I know. It's embarrassing. Sadly, I've no-one to share my Dan love with in real life. My children think I'm ridiculous and none of my friends are in the least bit metal. How disappointing 😉
