They are both gorgeous, but he is 10 years older and apparently eyed her up when she was still a teenager, which is icky.

Of course all our dc are beautiful but my only teen daughter is a real natural beauty with a perfect symmetrical face, peachy healthy complexion and large almond shaped eyes with long dark eyelashes

I’ve told this story before in another thread but I once bumped into (in fact, literally tripped over) Paul McCartney in St John’s Wood. He was mid-70s at the time, fucking gorgeous. I couldn’t believe it. I couldn’t stop watching his face. He photographs badly and I’ve never “got” the allure. It made me suddenly understand why so many people banged on about how Siegfried Sassoon (a favourite of mine who also photographs badly) was gorgeous until the day he died. Some people just don’t look good in photos, certainly still photos.
