Recommendations for wart removal clinic?

DP had a wart on his hand - he’s tried the freezing thing from the pharmacy, cider vinegar etc, but not working. Not something our GP will refer for. When you Google wart removal what should you be looking for to tell you whether the clinic is good and reputable? Would be very grateful if anyone has any advice.

I know this isn't at all helpful, but I had warts on my hand and on my knee for about 7yrs. Tried all sorts. One day, I woke up, and they'd gone. It was bizarre! Literally overnight.

My son had a wart removed from his leg a few months ago. Private hospitals do it and charge around £500, but we found a local beautician where one of the staff is qualified to do it and she only charged £50. The treatment is called Cryopen. She did a great job and the scar has already healed. I did a bit of research into the qualification/training she'd had and the technique she used and then googled reviews of her personally which were all very positive so I went with it. So glad I didn't spend £500 to get the same result.

@OldTinHat it has actually been years by now! Did they just … fall off?

Some laser clinics remove them

My GP recommended duct tape too

Has he tried nail polish? That is what got rid of my hand wart. I used skin coloured polish. Duct tape on my hand would have been way too obvious.

Duct tape and/or banana skin and/or tea tree oil - definitely worth trying at home

I know you asked about removal, but I read about a possibility of low vitamin C. I had unsightly and painful warts on the fingers on my left hand. But I upped my vitamin C intake by eating oranges everyday. After a few weeks they all but disappeared. I just have one small stubborn one that refuses to go.

My DD has them and we took her to the gp and they couldn't do anything. I was seeing a private dermatologist about something else and I asked her if I should try to get my dd seen and she said there isn't really an effective treatment and to wait. She's 10 and had them for about 4 years
