Christmas gift for teenage couple

So DS and his GF are 16 and 17. They have been together nearly a year and are very good for each other.

I would like to get them a gift for Christmas of something they can do together.

I have looked at twilight spa sessions but apart from being expensive they are too young to go without being accompanied and they won't want me tagging along.

I thought of afternoon tea but honestly I think they are both too fussy eaters for it to be worth the money.

So has anyone any good ideas?

Cinema tickets and/or Nandos voucher?

Last year I got my nephew and his girlfriend an “eat out” card, you could use it at lots of high street places like Zizzis, would they eat pizza?

Definitely something a bit more fun- an escape room, concert tickets, voucher for theme park, cinema and Pizza Express vouchers, driving track experience etc. Afternoon tea or twilight spa seem a bit staid and middle aged.

Theme park
Pizza Express
Costa
Cinema
Concert/theatre tickets

Depends on budget really

A light trail?
Ice skating?

Ah some great ideas. DS would absolutely not thank me for a photo shoot although I thing his GF would like it. Restaurant/cinema voucher sounds good. They would love Alton Towers but we don't have any theme parks that would be easy enough for them to get to unfortunately.

Is there a GoApe that they could get to? It’s a fun thing to do together if they like outdoor activities.

Have a look on Groupon. There are great experiences/ days out discounted. I use it all the time. You can print them off as a gift without disclosing how much you paid.

Cinema and Wagamama or something like that. A photoshoot would be beyond cringe imo.

TheChosenTwo · 07/12/2023 07:10

Definitely an escape room, dc2 is 18 and obsessed with the bloody things, she organised one for her 18th and invited me to come along too, I’d never done one before. It was a haunted theme and terrifying but loads of fun 😂

Voucher for cinema, bowling, meal, that kind of thing. Definitely not a photo shoot 😳

Eat out card or a voucher for a cocktail place, or an experience like escape room - or look for a deal on group on for something they like

Definitely not a photo shoot!

Oh I just realised their ages - scrap cocktails!
