So in October I got married, it was a small wedding but had the most incredible day.
The night before the wedding around 9pm, I was getting some things ready, for some reason I didn’t check my shoes for months, I’d bought them, tried them on then put them in the box in the spare room. I grab my shoes out of the box and to my absolute horror - the cat has gotten in them and completely ruined them 😫 bites and scratches all over. I ring my mum and sister frantically and my sister comes down to take me to every supermarket open (not thinking I’d find anything) in the meantime I posted on fb and urgent post asking if I can borrow any white / silver heels in my size. I had loads of shares and comments and messages. One woman messaged and turned out she’s a sister of someone I used to work with, I’ve attached the messages. When I got to her house she gave me a massive hug and just said to relax (I was freaking out I wouldn’t find any) tried them on and they was perfect! I then said I’d return them after the weekend and she absolutely insisted I keep them as a gift, I couldn’t but she basically made me! They went SO WELL with my dress, way better than my original shoes & it was like it was meant to be. My faith in humanity was restored on the night before my wedding! A woman who I didn’t know or never met before offered me her wedding shoes for free & let me keep them as a keep sake ❤️ there are some truly lovely people about! I’ve also attached a pic of my dress with the shoes!!! The pictures are rubbish I didn’t have many good photos and I’ve hidden our faces but if anyone knows me they’ll know it’s me from this story anyway lol pictures of original shoes and new shoes underneath
