I need some inspiration and a kick up the backside with various different things.

What is the app on your phone that helps compliment your day to day life?

Borrow box. Your local library will be signed up to or it a similar app. It allows you to borrow digital or audio books.

FITBIT. Free with Android.

It encourages me to walk 5000 steps a day - minimum, (which is 2 to 2.5 miles.) It also sets a target of 150 heart points a week.

You will generally get 150 heart points in a week, from walking 2 to 2.5 miles a day. (A sturdy walk, non-stop, not tootling around the shops.)

The walks burn off about 400 to 700 calories too.

I have had it for a year and a half, and have kept to the regime it dictates. I have dropped about a stone, and have also dropped a dress size. I have burnt fat, and am healthier and fitter. I can walk upstairs/up steps, and uphill without getting breathless, and I can get up from the floor much easier (if I get down for something.)

Libby (the app our library uses)
Merlin Bird ID (identifies birds for you by their calls )
Yr.no (weather app - it's the most accurate for where I live)

Store card is really useful for all your loyalty cards.

700 calories for a 2.5 mile walk? That can't be at all accurate?

Borrowbox for me too. Also use the free version of Spotify daily for podcasts. Also use Microsoft tasks daily and keep shared lists me and DH can both see.
