Hi, can anyone please advise how to go about this, my 7yo DS is crazy about football and I would like to take him to a Premier League game every now and then.

We got Cityzens memberships from Man City (we are happy to travel for his favourite team), the Red membership from Arsenal (his second favourite) but it's nearly impossible to buy tickets to any Premier League game, they make it so incredibly hard.

We will cancel those and the question is, what London clubs should we sign up with in order to have a real chance of buying PL tickets every now and then?

I guess we need a smaller club with a fair and transparent system so we can buy tickets without too much faff.

It's really really difficult to get tickets for any Prem team if you're not a member. My lot are all Palace season ticket holders. I think they're allowed to buy match tickets for non members, subject to t&Cs. I have a membership at Arsenal and can usually get tickets for the matches I want but I have ri be super organised! It's got a bit more difficult this season as they've introduced a ballot system. I like it though because the ballot is open for a week at a time.

Leyton Orient would be a great choice. Lovely family club. Great family stand with cheap tickets. There is a kids club too. My son started going to matches there's at 6 yrs old. He's 17 now and goes to lots of away matches. Great transport links too. The thing with PL clubs is the price for everything (merch and tickets) and my son goes to a match most weekends for v little. He loves it. It's about not just now when your son is young but the future when he's old enough to follow them around the country. He's also been mascot twice when he was little which was a great experience.

Can you look at European matches for either of those teams? They’re usually easier to get tickets for. Early round cup games too. Likewise, the women’s games at the Emirates are usually great and easy to get tickets for.

We’ve always found it easy to buy tickets for England at Wembley as well if that would interest him.

Otherwise I’d pick a lower league local team and get involved and go to a few matches.
